These collaborations strengthen both us and our partners around Austin ...
Youth Track
Our key partnerships are with youth pastors throughout the city. We are working with them to join together in monthly prayer in geographic zones of the city, focusing on improving conditions for the high schools in those zones. Then three times a year we will facilitate bringing youth pastors together – once for a “State of the Youth” conference, once for a youth pastor’s prayer retreat, and once at New Year’s for DEDICATE – the city-wide youth prayer summit. Another important partner is Austin Bridge-Builders Association (ABBA), which has identified young adults as a key component of transformation in Austin.
Church Track
Our key partnerships are with various senior pastors across the city and prayer coordinators in their churches; with the Unceasing Prayer initiative, led by Pastor Trey Kent of Northwest Fellowship; with the 6th Street Prayer Evangelism team; and with Austin Bridge-Builders Association (ABBA).
Austin 24-7 Prayer Calendar
Our key partnerships are with the Unceasing Prayer Initiative, Burn Austin, Campus Renewal Ministries & the Campus House of Prayer (CHOP), and Round Rock House of Prayer (RockHOP)
The AHOP Community
Key partnerships are with Hope Chapel, a local church that encourages participation in AHOP activities, and Imagine Art, a non-profit whose Executive Director Debbie Kizer is a member of the AHOP Community. In anticipation of facilities that will support community housing, we are also forming a partnership with Connexion House, a non-profit who has been exploring intentional community living as an important method of discipleship for young adults.
The Seabrook Center
Our partnerships are, of course, with the current inhabitants of the Seabrook Center: Austin Kingdom Academy / Church of the Hills, Berea, Campus Crusade for Christ / Fireseed Anthology, Day & Night Waters / Cielo, Doxology, Imagine Art, and Pip Start. We also appreciate our past tenants including C.S. Lewis Hall, The Schoenstatt Collegium, Casa Israel, Vox Veniae, and Baraka. We are also building partnerships with Connexion House and Central Texas Tres Dias, as we anticipate moving the Seabrook Center and having them join us on site.
AHOP Retreats
Key partnerships that we are working to develop for this future ministry include Central Texas Tres Dias; churches working with the Austin Bridge-Builders Association (ABBA); and the Catholic Diocese of Austin.
Friends and Partners
We are thankful for strong friendships and partnerships, as well as for those who support AHOP with the resources God has given them, is to pray for you the same prayer Paul prayed for the Corinthian church."I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, each memory a trigger to joyful prayer, full of thanks for your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am absolutely confident that he who began a good work in you will be carrying it through to completion up to the day of Jesus. It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart …"
- 1 Corinthians 1:3-6
