Global Day of Prayer - 10 Days of Prayer!
IMPORTANT:Sunday May 23 is the Global Day of Prayer.
The Global Day of Prayer (GDOP) is a prayer movement that was born in Africa in 2003, and has spread worldwide to become one of the largest prayer movements known in history.You won't want to miss participating in the 10 Days of 24/7 prayer leading up to May 23, the Global Day of Prayer in 2010.On that day there will be several united prayer meetings across the city of Austin, joining others around the globe in praying the Prayer for the World.

Churches & individuals from all over the city will be praying onsite at the AHOP Prayer Room during the 10 days leading to the Global Day of Prayer. See below the calendar for more detailed information on how to sign up. This will be only a small part of the prayer lifted up all over the city during these 10 Days. All believers should pray every day with the world at their homes, work places, and churches.
When?
  • 6 am Thur. May 13 through midnight on May 23

Where?

What we are asking of each person or group coming to the AHOP Prayer Room during the 10 Days:
  • Come 10 minutes early to your prayer time
  • Pray at least one biblical prayer during your session
  • Pray for and bless the group after you

How to sign up
  • In the calendar above, choose the available session(s) you want to sign up for (you might need to click the right arrow by the date at the top of the calendar to scroll from April to May so that you can view May 13 - May 22)
  • Email Joelene Michel (joelene@austinhouseofprayer.com) with your name, email, phone number, and the session(s) you would like
  • You will receive a confirmation email with an orientation document which includes directions plus a little about what to ecpect.

What to expect
  • A member of of our community will greet you when you arrive
  • You will meet and likely pray with people from the other participating churches
  • You will be praying alongside millions of others across the globe
  • God will meet you as you draw near to Him!
